our little family is growing! a few weeks ago (actually, on the hubs' b.day), my begging + pleading finally paid off... we got a puppy! i've been telling paul for months, no... years that i would love to have a dog. as an early graduation gift, my wish came true!
meet the 3/4 lab, 1/4 golden retriever that i stumbled upon looking through the ebay classifieds (that's right, we got our cat from craigslist + our dog from ebay... because we are just that classy). little livi is the most precious thing ever + we (i) can't even remember what life was like before her cuteness!
puppy-raising has sure been an exciting + challenging experience thus far. the hubs has never had a pup before, and i must say he has taken to it quite well. we have been reading the books, putting in load after load of pee-soaked laundry, + i'm pretty sure people on the outside think the only word we know how to say is 'no'... it looks like we might be on the right road to success with training :-). but really, she's a good egg + we are blessed to have her in our lives! look forward to many more pictures of the newest apple of our eyes in future blog posts!
(also you can see how much she has grown in just 3 weeks between the last 2 pictures: the first was taken 2 days after we got her [10 weeks old] + the second is from this past week [13 weeks old]... oh my!)
